  3. whitepowderbob says:

I would have used a little Loctite on those screws.

  4. afsheen07 says:

  5. Photowebster says:

sounds to me he doesn’t like his mark iii send it to me with that 24-105mm i will take care of it :) )

  6. loternchern says:

Real photographer who sacrifices. Learns to fix things, and gets the best from minimal cost. Knows what is suitable, not good/bad. Nice!

  7. DHland says:

good luck getting on a plane with all that now and days haha

  8. Lumixster says:

28-105 Not my fav lens(everyone heard it)…I’ll leave my details mate, u can send that to me, will consider as bday present :)

  9. arealfreak says:

i have the 24-105mm by canon. and love it!

  10. scaredweepel says:

Also as he states 28mm isn’t wide enough sometimes for full length shots, were as the 24mm is.

  11. scaredweepel says:

    @Logoblinkdotcom
His main aim is to get pictures of full lengths, mid shots (waist to top of the head) head and shoulders shots, and close-ups.

So what he can get with both lenses is full lengths, mid shots, and probably head and shoulders – and he’s able to use the flash. Problem with the 28-300mm, it’s a varied aperture of f3.5-5.6, so using it at 300mm at f5.6 isn’t great in low-light, nor is f4 but he’s still able to use the flash at 105. He’ll switch to the 70-200 at f2.8 for the ambient

  12. Logoblinkdotcom says:

    Very useful tips!
You are born to entertain the public ( in a good way ) :)
    Keep up the nice videos!

PS: is really the 24-105 so close to the 28-300 as an end result ?!

  13. hockeylaxboy11 says:

whill u remake the video with ur new setup

  14. frazerkh says:

have both as carpets varie sometimes they are so small a 24- 70 is perfect other times I need the zoom to get in for those head shots.

  15. svartlav says:

Thanks for all the great tips.

  16. BePhotographyllc says:

thanks for the tip on the off-camera shoe screws coming loose – I’ve gone thru a ton of these cables…. maybe i can revive some of the old ones now!

  17. Mahartinba says:

    9out of 10 that is IS. :)

  18. fetthunderdome says:

canon and flash.. they cannot stay in the same phrase without making laugh!

  19. Orcinus24x5 says:

Regarding the dummy-battery to prevent the flash from drawing power from the AA’s and the external pack… there is a custom function in the flash that you can set so the flash only draws power from the external pack to recycle the main capacitor.

  20. spotgreeen says:

Solution to screw problem – red loctite.

  21. badjon6 says:

    70-200 is the non-is right?

  22. jonfletcher147 says:
