take a scrub brush, long tooth comb, or regular hair brush. and brush and comb the carpet from all directions. let set for a day or two and it should come back. after a day or two repeat until it does come back !

Take a cube of ice and set it on the carpet, allow it to melt and then when it has dried, the fibers should have absorbed the water and expanded back to/near their normal size. Fluff as neccesary to get the grain going in the proper direction.

Try to remove the dent’s with a fork. Lightly scrape the carpet here and there with the fork. If this dosen’t work, wet or steam the carpet spot, use the fork again. This will work!

You can set an ice cube down in the dent and let it melt, or just spritz a little water from a spray-bottle onto the squashed-down area … let it sit for 10 minutes or so. The carpet fibers will absorb the water and start plumping back up again.

Then kinda “scruff” the carpet with your fingers … pull it up and finger-comb it back and forth …

You can either let it dry and then vacuum, or dry it with a blow-dryer on a low setting and vacuum. Either way, your carpet should look good as new.

Steam the carpet from the back.
