Question by Mark S: How to clean green copper oxide from carpet?
We have a piano bench with copper feet and the feet have left green copper oxide stains on our carpet. Anyone know how to clean this stain without damaging the carpet?
Has anyone heard of using vinegar for this purpose?

My fiance and I just bought our first home and the entire upstairs is wall to wall dark green carpet. Even in the bathroom. I personally would love to rip it up and put down new carpet, but it’s not something we’re willing to do at the moment. The wall color is currently a peach color. There’s a very big half moon window that lets in alot of light. Any ideas of a good color to match the carpet?

I am wanting to redo my bedroom. The carpets are a dark green. My sheets are a blush color and comforter white. I don’t know what color to paint the walls. I don’t want to pull up the carpet and I really like my sheets. Any suggestions? Also in our bathroom around the sink is a dark green and I want to repaint it also but if I do yellow it would look john deerish and if I did red itd be too christmasy. Any ideas here?

This may only work if you aren’t afraid to show your girly side, but what if you added light pink? Go for a military, but way cute room. Simple is best. You seem bold, but you are so right, red and green would look too clashy. The white comforter would lighten the room for what ever color scheme you choose, so that’s a plus. Stay away from colors like black and brown, even as small accents.
